I MADE IT AND A BIG THANK YOU!

So as Louise explained what happened in the previous post. I made it to Base Camp and safetly back down again. The unfortunate occurances that happened with Louise having to return home was a nightmare. But she will come back strong and climb that mountain!
It was one of the most beautiful places I have been in my life! Lucky with the weather in the daytime, the physical strain of trekking was made better by the mountains, yaks and great team supporting each other. Although we could have all pushed one trekker off the mountain (naming no names)!
And bloody hell sometimes it was hard work, but every step worth it.
I haven't had the chance to get my photos onto the computer yet, as I'm still carelessly travelling around Nepal.

I would like to say a big THANKYOU to those who have donated and supported. Although the target hasn't quite been broken, it's such a fantastic achievement to think how many people we will be helping.
I have only being emailing Louise, but my parents have been updating me with her recovery. I miss her alot and wish her speedy recovery!! She knows that already but I thought I would make it public. :)

Donations are still accepted!

More thanks to recent donations from Linda! :) and Richard Standen (some kid Becky knows) We really appreciate the support. AND! Many thanks to everyone that has sent me cards/presents/flowers and super nice messages! I'm almost better (not climbing a mountain better, but I'll get there!) xxxx

If you have any spare change... you know what to do! http://original.justgiving.com/harman-mytton-everest

Bad times

Okay, no easy way to say it. I got pretty sick in India and it seemed to just go on and on. Couple of blood tests a few dodge doctors later I finally made it to Kathmandu where I manage to run up a nice bill for my insurance company. Long story short, I've been told not to do the trek. No jokes please I am devastated I can't do it. Here is a photo anyway of us trying to make light of a bad situation. Lucy is still heading on with the trek so give her some extra love and sponsor!!! Pleassseeee!! As for me, I'll be back some day to do it again, I guess now just wasn't my time. We're just hanging in Kathmandu at the moment, so will update soon! Trek starts in 4 days! http://original.justgiving.com/harman-mytton-everest

On our own!

Now in Delhi, it's been a long hard month for Louise due to bacteria in infection, but with the help of a doctor, and a casual blood test in our room - freak out! She is now hopefully on the mend.
Fit and fighting  for the upcoming trek.

As i mentioned in the previous post, staying fit in India is rather difficult. The pollution is dreadful, so we can't help but cough and splutter in all the smells and dirt!
We take for granted our fresh air, which is one of the reasons for being very healthy.

Here are a few photos so you don't forget us, and don't forget to sponsor us. Being in India makes us realise how important our health is and how fragile the body is if you don't treat it well.

But to put the bad smells, dirt and being run over about 15 times a day aside- we are brilliant!!

P.s Thank you to Bodru for your donation! :)

Love Louise and Lucy

Louise's Birthday!! ^

16 days to go!!

Some of you may be unaware that we had to change the date of our trek. Now starting on the 17th Febuary, so the count down begins.

Louise and I have been apart for 2 weeks in India, so back together the excitement is increasing. Still feeling fit, but it's proved pretty difficult exercising in India. I've been using my green resistance band to keep toned and uurrrrrggh it feels so good. :)

So squatts, press-ups and crunches in the daily routine.

Please donate - we are so near our target and can't wait to reach the top for such an amazing charity!!

Listen to Vinnie!

Deaths from heart and circulatory disease are falling but it remains the UK's biggest killer. We need to work on preventing this by keeping healthy, considering all factors, diet, physical activity, smoking, alcohol, etc. By raising money we can help to promote healthy hearts, support those suffering and in the long run one day this may help someone you love.

Watch Vinnie Jones campaign and donate your pennies!!
